  • Warranty, Returns & Refunds

    1.1. Return of defective products
    The customer holds the right to return all the defective products.

    The customer is allowed 30 days upon reception of product to inform The House of Portugal.

    In all the cases that the client returns a product that is defective

    or in non conformity, and such return had been approved,

    the supplier will refund the customer with the value of the

    product

    plus shipping expenses within 30 days from receiving the

    product.

    This is a Consumer Right observed by Portugue Consumer Act.


    1.2. Return of Product without reason (Consumer Right)
    If, by any reson, the customer is not happy with the purchased

    products, shall have 15 calendar days from date of reception to

    return the product without any reason, providing that:

    The product has not been used ;

    The product has not been washed;

    The product is complete (in case of set or a product made out of a pair);

    The product must be returned and shipping costs will be for the

    customer account.

    All products must be returned on their original package, without

    any sign of broken stamps or tags, together with the respective

    airbill. Upon a satisfactory inspection, the supplier will refund the price of the product within 30 days (thirty days) upon reception of the product in Região Autónoma da Madeira. The customer

    Shipping cost will never be refunded (to theexception of defective or non conformity products); all shipping costs as well as return

    shipping will be for clients account.

     

    1.3. Exchange of product
    It is not possible to exchange any product.


    1.4. Return a Gift
    To return a product that was received as a gift, we request the

    customer to contact the patron and ask him/her to proceed with

    return process.


    1.5. Refunds
    Refund will be addressed in same manner as the original

    purchase. The supplier will not issue any refund until receiving the product and inspecting the returned product. Upon a positive

    inspection of the product, the supplier will refund the customer

    within 30 days (thirty).

  • Shipping and Pre Orders

    1.1 Delivery, where and when
    All deliveries will be done from Monday to Friday. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays. All orders can be delivered either in residental or office addresses.
    In case the purchase product is in stock it will be immediatelly shipped via courier to the delivery address. An order placedto be delivered within Portugal territory will be delivered in the following working day during office hours.

    Under this light we request our customers to indicate delivery address as their place of work.


    1.2 Delivery time
    All orders usually take up to 7 working days. This is usually kept, althout as it depends of third parties, its outside the responsability of The House of Portugal.

    We assure that all order are delivered in a maximum period of 30 days since day of purchase. As soon as the parcel has been collected by the courir, the customer will rceive a confirmation email with copy of the airbill and tracking number.


    1.3. Collection
    Customer must investigate the status of the parcel on delivery. If the package is damaged, the customer should not accept the delivery. The refund of the parcel and shipping costs will be made to the customer upon reception of the damaged pachage by the supplier. This will be done immediately at the supplier althought because we depend on third parties we request the client for a 30 day period.

    If we don´t hear from the customer after 15 days of receiving the product, the product is considered well received and in good order and no refund, returns will be accepted.

    2. Shipping costs


    Shipping costs are added to every order. Shippings costs differ from destiny country. In any circunstance will be send orders to countries with import custom duties.

    The customer will be informd of the total cost of shipping by email, together with the confirmation of the amount and period of production (in such cases where product still needs to be manufactured) as well as the estimated date of delivery.
